Why is it important to have a Mentor?

Having a mentor is said to be one of the most important keys to success. The leaders of today did not get to where they are alone - they had a mentor who believed in their abilities and guided them along the way.

“A mentor is someone who sees more talent and ability within you,                                       than you see in yourself, and helps bring it out of you.” — Bob Proctor

A mentor can impact your life tremendously in so many unimaginable ways. Becoming apart of the WSU Mentorship Program will begin with one of our mentors walking you through what to expect in your transition from high school into college. Being a student athlete comes with high demands and we are there every step of the way to ensure you are successful on and off the field.
